What it means
A tiger represents a powerful ally or authority figure, and courage. Riding or taming a tiger points to standing above a challenge; being chased warns of pressure from someone strong. As a conception dream it foretells a bold, strong-willed child.

- You rode it, or it obeyed you
- The best form. A tiger under your hand was read as a powerful person on your side rather than against you.
- It chased you
- The caution side. Read as pressure from someone with standing over you — and as a nudge to turn and look at it rather than keep running.
- It came into your house or yard
- Read well. A tiger that comes in of its own accord was taken as help arriving, in the same way a pig entering the house is.
- It was a white tiger
- The rarest colour, and read as the highest form — a matter of standing and protection rather than strength alone.
- You dreamt it while expecting a child
- Read as a child of nerve and will, one who does not bend easily. More often a son, though families differ.
