- She has passed away, and appeared at peace
- Widely read as a blessing, or as a message worth keeping. This is among the most comforting readings Korea holds, and it is held firmly.
- She gave you something
- Read as the largest form here. Receiving from a mother was counted as fortune with permission attached, which the tradition rated above fortune alone.
- You could not reach her, or she turned away
- Read as longing rather than as a sign. This form was read as belonging to the dreamer, and the old advice was simply to call home.
