You caught the pig

The strongest version of the dream. Holding the pig is read as the fortune being in hand rather than passing by — which is why people remember whether they caught it.

It walked into your house

Traditionally the best form of all: fortune arriving on its own feet rather than being chased. A pig at the gate or in the yard is counted the same way.

A black pig

Read as heavier than an ordinary pig. This is the version most often mentioned when people talk about buying a lottery ticket the next morning.

Piglets, or many pigs

Read as increase spread over several places rather than one lump — earnings that come in more than once, or something that grows from a small start.

The pig bit you

Not taken badly, which surprises people. The bite is read as the fortune fastening onto you, and the place it bit is spoken of as where it attaches.

You rode the pig

Read as handling the fortune rather than only receiving it — the older books connect it with money you direct yourself, such as your own trade.

It ran away, or you chased it off

The one form read as a loss: something that was coming in was pushed back out. Older readings treat it as a reason to look at what you are turning down.

The pig was dirty, or covered in dung

Two money symbols at once — dung is its own celebrated luck dream in Korea — so the two are read together rather than one spoiling the other.

You dreamt it while expecting a child

Counted as a taemong, a conception dream. It is spoken of as a child who will not want for much; many families also read a pig taemong as a daughter, though that part varies by household.
