Rotate PDF pages, reorder or delete them — no upload
Turn sideways or upside-down pages the right way up, drag pages into order and delete the ones you don't need. The file is handled inside your browser and not sent anywhere.
Pages are moved whole: nothing on them is redrawn or compressed. Bookmarks and fillable forms are not carried over. Deleted pages are not left in the new file.
How it worksHow this works
Your file stays on your device
The PDF is read inside your browser. The page pictures are drawn there by pdf.js, the PDF reader built into Firefox, and the new file is written there by pdf-lib. There is no upload step and no server route; the result goes straight to your downloads.
Turning a page
A PDF page carries a note of how far it is turned. Turning a page here changes that note and nothing else, the same as a PDF reader's rotate button when it saves: text stays text, pictures are not re-compressed, and the quality is exactly what it was. A page that was already turned in the original is turned further from where it was.
Moving and deleting pages
The pages you keep are copied whole, in the order on the screen, into a new file. Anything a page draws, and its links and comments, come with it. The file's title, author, subject and language are kept; its bookmark list and fillable forms are not.
A deleted page is left out of the new file entirely. If a kept page linked to it, that link is taken off, because the link would otherwise carry the deleted page into the file with it. Links between pages that are both kept still work.
When it helps
A scan made with a phone or an office copier often has pages lying on their side, or the back of a two-sided sheet upside down; turn those pages alone. A merged file whose parts ended up in the wrong order is put right by dragging, and a blank page or a cover you don't want to send is deleted before the file goes out.
Limits
A PDF with a password or restrictions cannot be written, so it is sent to Unlock a PDF first. A page that pdf.js cannot draw keeps a blank card but can still be turned, moved and saved.
No. The file is read, shown and saved inside your browser; this tool has no server step. To draw some pages the page may fetch character maps or fonts from this site, never your file.
Does rotating lower the quality?
No. The page is not redrawn: the file records that the page is turned, the way a PDF reader's rotate button does when it saves. Text stays text and can still be searched and copied.
Is a deleted page really gone from the file?
Yes. Only the pages you keep are written into the new file. If another page linked to a deleted one, that link is removed too, so nothing of the deleted page is left inside.
